Welcome to my new Blog!

Hi, I'm Angie! Thanks for taking a moment to read my blog and view my work. I have been doing photography professionally for over five years and have loved every minute of it! (well . . . almost) :)

I specialize in lifestyle portraiture of kids and their families as well as weddings. My goal with every session is to capture the simple moments or expressions that bring out your child's personality. Some of the things that define my style are little girls in a frilly tutu on a rustic tractor or in front of a barn with peeling paint; vintage furniture in a field of weeds and hats and boots in all styles! I've been known to ask families to get IN a river for that "perfect" family picture (never mind that the two-year-old is swimming around mom and dad's legs!), and after I go prop shopping the comment I most often hear from my husband is "That is the ugliest chair I have ever seen!" But I know where there's potential!

Take a look around my blog -- this is where you can find out all of the exciting things going on at Portraits by Angie Lane -- new products, specials, events, limited edition sessions, and of course -- sneak peaks for sessions!

And when you're ready to book a custom portrait session, give me a call at (209) 607-2768. I look forward to working with you!

Daffodil Hill

I have found that there are so many neat little places around Stockton! Daffodil Hill is one of those places — located in the foothills around Sutter’s Creek and Volcano — I had never heard of it, but thanks to one of Clark’s co-workers, we found out about it just in time! Their last day for the season was Sunday, so we took a drive up to see what it was like. I had high hopes of getting some great pictures of my kids, but neither my kids, nor the sun cooperated very well. But here are a few images from Daffodil Hill.Img_8932Img_90452
