I loved working with Jon & Heidi! I knew when we took their engagement pictures (way back last May, I think!) that they were going to be a fun couple (and very photogenic as well! Makes my job easy!) Both Jon & Heidi had a great group of friends that they’ve known forever in their wedding party and I can tell you — everyone had a GREAT  time (maybe I shouldn’t post those pictures on the web) Thanks for letting me capture the moments of your special day! Hope you had a great time in the Bahamas! I have a ton of favorites, but here’s a sneak peak for now.

This was such a beautiful wedding, and I’m warning all you readers now — this is going to be an post with image overload! I’ve barely started editing the images from this wedding and I already have so many favorites! The entire bridal party were such troupers! We did the portraits at Fort Point right under the Golden Gate bridge and it was FREEZING! (as SF usually is). It was fleet week in SF and we had a little bonus entertainment as we drove away from the port — we got to see the Blue Angels flying over the bay!

I have been wanting to shoot bridal/wedding portraits here for 8 YEARS!! And I finally got the opportunity yesterday (Thanks Johnny and Nancy for driving all that way — you guys rock!). We shot these pictures at Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley — doesn’t it remind you of Sleeping Beauty’s castle or something?

This wedding was such a joy for me to photograph! Both the bride and groom are such amazing people with awesome families. There was so much love expressed at this wedding, I had tears in my eyes on more than one occasion.  Congratulations guys, and I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon!

I just love fall weddings! And this was the easiest, most stress-free wedding I’ve ever done! We did portraits of the family and bridal party at Oak Grove park — everything was beautiful!

You know how some things just make you feel old? This wedding was one of those events. I have known Candace since she was about 12 years old and for years she was my kids’ favorite babysitter. In fact, my daughter named one of her dolls after Candace! Best of luck to you guys in Idaho! We’ll miss you!
