I could photograph this little sweetheart every day! She was so cute — she picked out which outfits she wanted to wear and then she would walk up to me, point to my camera and say “picture.” I don’t think she wanted the photoshoot to be over.

Back in April when we went out to Utah, I took some pictures of Kayla and my nieces. It’s taken me forever to get to these pictures, but I finally did it (thanks for being so patient Min!) Kayla had so much fun with her cousins! She talks about them often.

When we were loading the kids into the car, I turned around and Kayla and Avery were doing little twirls. It isn’t the greatest portrait in the world, but I thought it was cute.

This little man is so dang cute! I love his cheeks! He was such a trooper for this session — his mom said he didn’t seem like himself and we found out later he had a double ear infection!

I first took portraits of these kids about 3 years ago — and what a memorable experience that was! We did the pictures at Lodi Lake and it just happened to be during the hottest week in recent history. I remember getting into my car at the end of the session at 8:00 and it was 108! Luckily last night we did NOT have that kind of weather! (Though it was nice to end the session with some ice cream — thanks Elizabeth!)
I had so many favorites — and I’m not even done processing all of them!

I meant to post these pictures FOREVER ago, but I just got busy. I took my kids to my hometown of Petaluma over spring break to take some new portraits of them together. I wish Petaluma was closer! (sigh). There are so many amazing places to shoot there. I always loved all of the old buildings when I lived there, but when I went back and looked at the town through a photographer’s eye, I couldn’t believe all the spots that I had never noticed before!
Anyway, here are a few of my kiddos:

I love Old Sacramento! If it wasn’t so far away, I could do every session there! We had to reschedule this session a couple of times and of course, when we were finally able to do it, we get there and find out it’s the Jazz Festival! There were thousands of people in Old Sac! Luckily we were able to find some spots that were fairly clear of the crowds.
I have a TON of favorites!

I can hardly believe Miss K is already 5!! She was one of my first clients when she was just a newborn! (Hard to believe I’ve been in business for 5 years! — Check back next week for a special promotion celebrating 5 years of business). Anyway, K is always so photogenic — I hardly have to tell her to do anything. She is involved with a special Portugese festival so I asked her mom to bring her crowns and some of her fancy dresses. Those are some of my favorite pictures! (Although it really is hard for me sometimes to pick a favorite!). Happy (late) birthday Miss K.!

This session was so fun! This senior is graduating in just a few weeks and was so relaxed and photogenic — she made my job easy! Best of luck with everything in the future!!
I can’t believe little Miss J is already 4! I’ve been photographing her since she was born and she has changed SO much! I can’t get over how long her hair is! We had lots of fun in Old Sac yesterday!
This session was about as perfect as it gets — two absolutely adorable sisters in an awesome location. This was one of my casting call sessions — I wanted to try out this location in the delta and I LOVE IT! I had a ton of favorites and I’m going to post a bunch to show off this place!
