This session was so fun for me (despite the 95+ degrees!) I hadn’t seen these boys in a while and it was so fun for me to see how big they’d gotten!

We had such a great time doing beach pictures in July!! It’s hard to believe it’s almost time to go back! If you’re interested in doing a beach session October 8, let me know — I may still have one or two sessions available.

I always love shooting in Old Sac and this session was no exception! This family had been through so much last year and they wanted to have family portraits done to finish off their year on a happy note!

I’m embarrassed to see how long it’s been since I posted my last blog entry!! It’s been really busy around here and I have tons of sessions to post as well as some upcoming fall events! (Can you believe fall is just around the corner!!) Anyway, I posted these pictures on facebook a while back, but wanted to get them up on my blog as well. I took some pictures of my kiddos the last week of summer and there were several that I just loved. As you’ll hear many photographers say, it can be very difficult to get good pictures of your own kids. They’re immune to your jokes and other techniques that work like a charm on other kids! LOL. But I was still happy with what we got and I finally have an updated portrait of Kayla to put on the wall (I’ve had an empty frame hanging on the wall up my stairs for the past 3 months!)

When I saw little Miss M I couldn’t believe how much she’d grown since the last time I did her pictures! I didn’t even recognize her! We were dealing with some seriously harsh sun during this session, but were able to fine a few shady spots!

This little guy is one of my baby-planners and it’s been so fun to watch him grow over the past year! For his one-year session we photographed the whole family and had a blast roaming around Old Sacramento. Happy belated birthday Mr. H!

Aren’t these sisters so cute!? I love photographing them. I’ve been photographing big sis since she was born and now she’s almost 4! And can you believe these twins are NOT identical? I have a hard time telling them apart!

This session was so fun! The weather was perfect, the lighting was perfect, little Miss N was in a great mood and is so dang cute! It was a perfect storm of photography. I just can’t get over her eyes (that’s really what they look like — they’re not photoshopped!) I can’t get over how much she’s changed since she was such a tiny little newborn!

I’ve been photographing these little guys since big sis was a newborn. This is one of the things I love most about this job — getting to watch families grow and seeing how the kids change as they get older. I love it! When I got home from this session, I immediately downloaded the pictures and couldn’t wait to see what we got. I knew we were going to have a ton of images that I loved and I was right! I had a hard time narrowing down the images from this session! Hope you like them as much as I do Lisa!

With all of the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately, it’s hard to believe that when we did this session (back in JANUARY — that’s how far behind I am!) it was foggy and FREEZING! So happy it’s spring now!
I had the pleasure of photographing little A all throughout her first year and it’s hard to believe she’s TWO (with a baby sister on the way!) I just LOVE her curls — and she is the cousin of baby E in the post below — aren’t they two of the cutest cousins ever?!
