This family was so much fun! (And don’t you just LOVE this little guy’s red hair!) He was such a trooper and then we finally wore him out. The picture of him sleeping has got to be my favorite from the whole shoot!

I always love photographing the O family — and Mrs. O always puts together the cutest outfits for their shoots!

This family was so fun! They were up for anything and the girls were so cute!

Two year old + 7 month-old twins= 3 1/2 hour session = me crashed out on the couch at 5 p.m. This session was totally exhausting, but totally worth it. If you’ve ever been to my website, you’ve seen the picture of the baby in the wire basket on my homepage — now this is the same baby at two years old! (Hmmm . . . maybe time to update my website?)
And I want to give a shout-out to my oh-so-talented client Margo who made the adorable tutu little Miss R is wearing. Isn’t it fabulous?

I first took portraits of these kids about 3 years ago — and what a memorable experience that was! We did the pictures at Lodi Lake and it just happened to be during the hottest week in recent history. I remember getting into my car at the end of the session at 8:00 and it was 108! Luckily last night we did NOT have that kind of weather! (Though it was nice to end the session with some ice cream — thanks Elizabeth!)
I had so many favorites — and I’m not even done processing all of them!

So my last newborn slept through the entire session (I think I have one picture with her eyes open) and this little guy was WIDE awake for the first part. He did eventually go into a milk coma towards the end and I have a feeling he may have slept for quite a while this afternoon. He seemed pretty worn out! :)
Congrats C family!!

I could have photographed little L all day! She was so sleepy and squishy and chubby — my favorite kind of newborn! I had just been saying something about newborns smiling in their sleep when she started grinning up a storm! She must be having sweet dreams!
Congrats F family on your BEAUTIFUL little girl!!

I love Old Sacramento! If it wasn’t so far away, I could do every session there! We had to reschedule this session a couple of times and of course, when we were finally able to do it, we get there and find out it’s the Jazz Festival! There were thousands of people in Old Sac! Luckily we were able to find some spots that were fairly clear of the crowds.
I have a TON of favorites!

This little sweetie is the third child (and first girl!) that I’ve photographed for the G family. She’s got two very proud (and loving) big brothers!
This little guy is so cute! I thought it was kind of funny that both of the newborns I shot this week really loved their hospital binkys!
