This session was so much fun! I thought for sure we wouldn’t get any sleeping pictures of this little lady because she was pretty “old” for a newborn — 3 weeks. But once mom fed her, she conked out and slept the rest of the session — even with me moving her around and putting her in different containers!

This little guy was pretty alert throughout most of the session and he really liked being held by mom or dad, so we ended up doing most of the pictures with them holding him — and even though he got a little fussy, mom and dad stayed totally calm, which was awesome! I always tell parents you just never know what will happen at a newborn session so we just have to go with the flow! I love the picture with mom holding him and he’s cracking a smile! So precious!

These kids were so cute together! You could tell that they were so excited to have a baby sister!

I have had so many sweet newborns lately! It’s been like Christmas!

This little guy was so chubby and squishy! And he has such a proud big brother!!

This little cutie was so fun to photograph and she was having such a great time (that is until she heard the roosters!) I felt so mean laughing at her terror, but she looked so dang cute!

And this is what happened when the roosters started crowing:

This little peanut was such a sweetie! She had the perfect ratio of sleep vs. awake. And we decided that her daddy’s voice is a real calming influence on her because with all the pictures we took — her alone, her with mom, her with dad, she ONLY had accidents on dad! I think he had to leave the studio shirtless by the time we were done! I’m sure daddy won’t forget that soon.

I’ve decided 5 days old is the perfect age! This little sweetie never made a peep! She let me do whatever I wanted and she didn’t even poop on anything (that’s a first!) She’s so tiny and curled up! It was awesome!!

This session was so much fun (and I totally wanted to move into their house!) I have an infatuation for old homes — there’s so much character! Anyway, this little cutie was so sweet!

Sweet little “I” was so happy during our photoshoot — it was like her little body was too small to contain all her happiness and she was just going to explode! She is such a doll! (And check out her adorable little shoes!!)
