This little sweetheart was so tiny and girly — she reminded me so much of Kayla when she was born! It seems like just yesterday and now she’s 6 1/2! Enjoy your precious girl G family — she’s a keeper!

I’m having so much fun with these newborns and I still have more ideas I want to try, so I am extending the Newborn Casting Call through June (May is booked up). If you have friends or family that are expecting in June, please forward this link to them. Here’s the 411:

* Babies born between now and June 30 are eligible (Spots may fill up before June 30).

* Babies must be under two weeks old at the time of the session

* Must be able to come to my home-studio on a Tuesday or Thursday between 9:30 and 1:00

* All participants must sign a model release so the pictures can be used in marketing and on my website

Spots for Casting Call sessions are limited so call today so we can get you on the calendar. (I ALWAYS suggest scheduling a newborn session before the baby is born to ensure that we can get portraits taken before they’re two weeks old. And of course, we can reschedule if the baby comes early or late).

I could have photographed this baby all day (and I practically did!) It’s been so fun having all of these newborns lately! I’ve been knitting up a storm making lots of hats and other props for these sessions and my kids asked me the other day, “Mom, why are you always yarning?”

This was such a fun session for me (minus the 50,000 mosquito bites I came home with) I have known Ms. S for about 9 years now. We worked together back in my PR days and it’s been so fun to watch your family grow! You have a wonderful family and I was honored to photograph them in your beautiful home! And I hope Mr. G had a great first birthday!

I’ve been so busy with Little Angels stuff that I’m a bit behind posting these. Here are a few more of my favorites from our Mustard Field Limited Edition sessions.

UPDATE: I know some people were a little confused about when you could use Angel Bucks. They can be used for ANY session taken in 2010, not just a Little Angels session. So even if you’re not planning on participating in Little Angels this year, you can still earn Angel Bucks by referring your friends!

I’ve always said my best advertising is through you — my awesome clients! So I’m enlisting you to help spread the word about Little Angels! For each friend you refer for our Little Angels sessions, you will receive $50 Angel Bucks that you can spend on a photoshoot or portraits! And as an added bonus, the person who refers the most people to our Little Angels sessions will not only earn tons of Angel Bucks, but they’ll also win a free portrait session! And you can know that for each friend you refer, you’ll be helping to raise money for a great cause — the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital!

After a one-year hiatus, I am excited to announce Little Angels 2010, benefitting the NICU at St. Joseph’s! Here’s how it works: participants pay a $100 donation to St. Joseph’s in lieu of a session fee. A few weeks after the sessions are complete, I will post my favorite images online for clients, friends, family  . . . (anyone you know, really)  to vote. Votes are $1 per vote and the picture with the most votes will go on the cover of the Little Angels 2011 Calendar and the next 12 with the most votes will go inside the calendar. All the proceeds from the votes and calendar sales also go to St. Joseph’s.
