It was so fun for me to do this photoshoot! I had the opportunity to photograph baby J’s parents for their wedding a couple of years ago so it was great for me to get to meet this little guy! And I love it when newborns smile in their sleep!

Whew! Are you tired of seeing beach portraits yet?
This is my last beach session to post for now. I have lots of other sessions to post as well (I’ve done 10 sessions in the last two weeks!) Anyway, here is the awesome P family! (Oh, and Amy, you’ll never believe this! Clark found my skimboard that evening during my last session! It had either washed up on the beach or someone swiped it while we were taking pictures!).

Well, I’ve only got one more session to edit from the Beach Portraits last week! This was a great session (and I was so thrilled that the lighting finally decided to cooperate!)

I have so many favorites from our Beach Limited Edition sessions — and I still have two more sessions to go! The weather has been beautiful (although at this point I’m praying for some clouds so I dont’ have to deal with such harsh sun!)
Here are a few from the first day:

This was such a beautiful wedding, and I’m warning all you readers now — this is going to be an post with image overload! I’ve barely started editing the images from this wedding and I already have so many favorites! The entire bridal party were such troupers! We did the portraits at Fort Point right under the Golden Gate bridge and it was FREEZING! (as SF usually is). It was fleet week in SF and we had a little bonus entertainment as we drove away from the port — we got to see the Blue Angels flying over the bay!
Thanks so much for letting me be part of your special day and I hope you guys are having a blast at Cape Cod!

I have been wanting to shoot bridal/wedding portraits here for 8 YEARS!! And I finally got the opportunity yesterday (Thanks Johnny and Nancy for driving all that way — you guys rock!). We shot these pictures at Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley — doesn’t it remind you of Sleeping Beauty’s castle or something?

With September being so unseasonably warm, it’s hard to believe it’s already October! And there’s only 6 WEEKS until the deadline for photoshoots to be complete in order for portraits to be back by Christmas! So here is a list of the deadlines for the Holiday season. I’ve only got a couple of session spots left available in October so if you’re thinking about doing portraits as gifts for the holidays, or you just want to get updated family portraits for your holiday cards, be sure to book your appointment SOON!
