This photoshoot definitely kept me on my toes! When we got to Lodi Lake, we found the gates closed (well before sunset!) so we had to hoof it to the other side of the lake (note to self, bring SMALL bottles of bubbles — not gallon sized! I thought my arm was going to fall off!) But we made it just in time before the sun went down and I even got to use my “new” croquet set! Little J is always so fun to photograph!

Two year old + 7 month-old twins= 3 1/2 hour session = me crashed out on the couch at 5 p.m. This session was totally exhausting, but totally worth it. If you’ve ever been to my website, you’ve seen the picture of the baby in the wire basket on my homepage — now this is the same baby at two years old! (Hmmm . . . maybe time to update my website?)

And I want to give a shout-out to my oh-so-talented client Margo who made the adorable tutu little Miss R is wearing. Isn’t it fabulous?

This session was so fun! Dad was so cute with the baby (even though she had a bit of an accident on him!) These pictures were done for the Skin to Skin campaign for St. Joseph’s.

This week I chose several outfits that look great for a single child. A couple of the outfits from Boden show a winter coat, scarves etc. It just goes to show that when the weather gets cold, you can still do really cute portraits — just get a classic looking coat! (Not that we have to worry about it getting cold here any time soon!)

I will be the first to say I don’t know a thing about dogs. So I wasn’t sure how they would do with this session, but the dogs were so fun! It was obvious that this little sweetie loves her dogs (and they love her!)

I was at Old Navy yesterday and saw the adorable plum courduroy jacket posted below and it inspired this edition of Fashion Friday. I LOVE fall clothes. I sometimes wish our autumn weather was a little cooler so we could take advantage of all the cute sweaters, boots, jackets etc. And then I realize I’m crazy! I love the combination of plum and navy blue so I did several outfits in those colors for girls and boys (well, just Navy for the boys). Oh and by the way, Old Navy is having a huge sale right now!

I had the fabulous opportunity to photograph M & J this week for their engagement pictures. They were so natural, it was awesome! And doesn’t M have the most gorgeous hair?! Congratulations on your engagement guys!

I’ve been working with St. Joseph’s hospital over the last several months on a project promoting skin to skin interaction with newborn babies. If you’ve had a baby recently at St. Joseph’s, you may have seen the finished product hanging in the labor and delivery area. Next time you’re there, check it out!

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph these triplets this week! I was not sure what to expect with triplets — I’ve done several sets of twins, but no triplets. And when I found out they could ALL crawl, I thought we were in for it. But these babies were SO good! None of them cried once! I had no expectations of getting all three of them to look at the camera at the same time (which is probably a good thing since I think we only got 2 pictures where they’re all looking). Aren’t they just the sweetest things?!? We even had a bit of an audience while we were taking these. I guess we weren’t the only ones who thought they were cute!

OK, I finally jumped on the bandwagon (after several months of gentle ridicule from friends!) and am on Facebook! Now that I’ve finally set it up, it looks like lots of fun.
