Well I am definitely looking forward to coming home from this trip and staying home for a while! It seems like I've been on so many trips lately (even though they're short). Anyway, I will be out of town starting tomorrow (Thursday, April 23) through Saturday, May 2. I will have my cell phone with me and I will try to return calls when I can. I will not have access to my email so I will reply to any email when I return.

Inspired and Rejuvenated!
I am constantly striving to be the best photographer I can be and part of what helps me do this is my commitment to continuing education in my field. Last weekend I had the fabulous opportunity to attend a workshop with a handful of other photographers (some came from as far as Puerto Rico!) with Skye Hardwick — one of the leading children's photographers in the country. It was awesome and I have tons of new ideas and I met some really great photographers in the process. On Saturday we went out on the streets of Sacramento and photographed some little models — here are a few of the shots I took.
4 Years Old!
I can’t believe little Miss J is already 4! I’ve been photographing her since she was born and she has changed SO much! I can’t get over how long her hair is! We had lots of fun in Old Sac yesterday!
Little Lady
This little sweetie is the third child (and first girl!) that I’ve photographed for the G family. She’s got two very proud (and loving) big brothers!
Little Man
This little guy is so cute! I thought it was kind of funny that both of the newborns I shot this week really loved their hospital binkys!
Great Experience with the Governator
I had the fabulous opportunity yesterday to photograph our Governor, Arnold Schwartzenegger for a fundraiser for California's upcoming special election. Unfortunately per my contract I can't post any of the pictures, but it was a great experience and he is truly a very approachable and nice guy.
9 Month Beauty
It had been about six months since I’d seen this little cutie and I couldn’t believe how much she has changed! She’s starting to show some resemblance to her big sis! (At least I think so).
Windy
It was so windy the day we took these pictures, I thought we would blow away! Sometimes wind can cause a real problem for photography, but sometimes it adds some drama to the pictures and makes them more interesting. Just look at how cute she looks with her hair blowing!
