I can’t believe little “W” is already a year! He has changed so much since his newborn session and I loved doing his one year portraits out on the ranch!

Update on Summer Beach Sessions

One of my first clients turns 4!
I have so enjoyed photographing the “O” family! I’ve been taking pictures of this little sweetie since she was born. It’s hard to believe she’s already 4! I wanted to get some great pictures of her in a really fun location, so we went to Old Sacramento — one of my favorite spots for pictures! And how can it not be fun when some of our locations included a candy store and ice cream? (Hope she didn’t have too much of a sugar rush!) It’s always a great feeling for me when the kids don’t want the shoot to be over.
Summer Beach Sessions
I have had several requests for beach sessions this summer and so I have decided to do a weekend of special limited edition beach sessions in July. There are very few spots available as I can only do sessions first thing in the morning and in the evening, due to possibly harsh lighting conditions at the beach.
The date(s) for the sessions will be July 12 (Saturday) in the Santa Cruz area (most likely Natural Bridges state beach). I have two sessions available for that day. If there is more interest in the beach sessions, I will add two more sessions for Friday, July 11 — one in the morning and one in the evening.
Clients may also choose to book a beach session on a different date, however normal travel fees apply (travel fees to the Santa Cruz area are approximately $150, plus the session fee).
Session fees for the Limited Edition sessions are $150, and there is no travel fee. I will also be putting together some Limited Edition Collections that are only available for the Limited Edition Beach Sessions.
These sessions are a great way to get some very personal portraits that will be heirlooms for years to come — and maybe this is just the opportunity to take a mini family vacation! Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in one of these sessions, as they are sure to go fast! Here are a few images from previous beach sessions to get you inspired.
Little Miss A
This little sweetheart was so fun to photograph. We did the session fairly late in the evening so we could catch the best light and I was expecting her to be a bit fussy — not at all! She was a trooper! And check out those eyes! What a little cutie.
The Beautiful S Family
I love photographing the "S" family — they are great to work with and so photogenic! And this time I had the opportunity to photograph them at their beautiful home, right on a lake. I knew it would be picturesque, but it was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Thanks guys for a wonderful shoot!
My Adorable Nieces!
Last month when my husband graduated, we were thrilled to have some of his family come out for a visit. While they were here we just had to take some portraits of these adorable nieces of mine!
