I am thrilled to report that my new website is live! The new website has a new URL — it’s www.angielane.com.(or you can just click on the link to the left). For the next few days, my old url at portraitsbyangielane.com will still be active, but then that site will come down and if you type in the old url, it will redirect you automatically to my new site.
I have updated all the galleries, and have also included information on our weddings (which I’ve never had on my website before). Another great feature of the new site is that client proof galleries are password protected, so you don’t have to worry about people you don’t know viewing your images.
Come check it out. I’d love to know what you think!
Boy, what a week! WPPI was great! I was a little overwhelmed at how many people there were (over 11,000 of the best photographers in the world!) and how big the tradeshow was! I spent time each of the three days at the tradeshow and still didn’t see everything! But I saw some awesome products and am excited to be offering some REALLY cool custom frames — I’ll have pictures in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned!
Just an FYI — my website is experiencing some technical difficulties as I’m making the transition to my new site, so if you try to log onto the site, and it’s down, try again later. And as always, you can email me or give me a call if you need some information on something.

Putting together a blog has been on my to-do list for some time! One of my goals for 2008 is to have better communication with my clients about specials, promotions and just things that are going on here at Portraits by Angie Lane. I plan to have sneak-peaks of my favorite images from sessions as well as blog-only specials (so you’ll want to come back often to see what they are!) as well as some possible contests. It should be fun!
First, a bit of business: I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of town Saturday, March 15-Thursday, March 20 to attend WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) in Las Vegas! I’m sure I’ll come home with loads of inspiration and ideas! I will have my cell phone, and I will try to check messages and return calls in between classes, but I will not have a computer or access to email.
For those of you who participated in Little Angels ‘08, thank you! We got some great pictures and I’m excited to get them up for everyone to vote on their favorites. I will send out an email when they’re ready (probably the end of next week once I get back from Vegas).
